Here's What You Need To Know
Starting from August 12 2024
Constituency Registration Unit
Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Visit the registration unit in your constituency where your name appears on the register
- Bring your expired Voter’s ID
- Bring a valid government-issued ID
- Bring documents updating marital status (if applicable)
- Bring proof of address (bill, bank statement etc.)
- Your demographics can be updated with a new photo, signature, and validated with fingerprints
- The updated card will be available within two weeks of your application
- Your expired card will be retained by the registration officer
- Residency verification may be conducted
- If you’ve lost your expired ID card, present a valid government-issued ID to complete the process
- Replacement of expired Electoral IDs is FREE OF COST
